Our Philosophy

To prepare for a future in dance, training must be looked at holistically. Rather than training in just one area, our dancers are expected to train within the MPDC core competencies:

Musicality

Performance

Development

Choreography

Within these skillsets, each dancer becomes proficient in jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical and technique. Similarly, we believe in presenting our dancers to opportunities to grow beyond the stage. While we value recitals, performances and competitions as an integral part of our philosophy, our dancers are also exposed to the dance industry through video concepts, commercial shoots, modeling and acting.

The result? A well-rounded dancer prepared for anything.

Teachers are allowed to cancel one class; therefore, you will have 30 paid lessons unless extenuating circumstances occur. Absolutely no makeup lessons when dancers are absent due to personal circumstances. In the event that a teacher cancels outside of their allowed cancellation, classes will be rescheduled and families will be notified.
